Rickey Henderson elected into Hall
Rickey Henderson, considered by many to be the greatest lead-off hitter of all time, was accepted into the Hall of Fame this week. It was his first time of the ballot and he got in with over 90% of the vote. There was no surprise that'd he got elected. In fact, it was surprising that he didn't get more of the vote. Henderson was one of the best the game has ever seen and he played with several teams including the Seattle Mariners. It was great to watch him and for all the younger children, it is a shame they can't (they can always watch old tapes though.) Henderson was a heck of a player and he deserves to be in.
